The Christlum offers diverse terrain ranging from wide carving slopes to exhilarating mogul pistes and guarantees skiing pleasure for all abilities – children’s world, descents for families and pros on FIS certified slopes. During and after the ski day four mountain huts invite to stop for refreshments.
Within just 5 minutes the Rofan cable car transports skiers from Maurach up to an elevation of 1,840 metres in the Rofan mountains. The Rofan offers perfectly groomed slopes which guarantee snow-sure skiing pleasure until spring. Advanced skiers will enjoy the black slope, and those who prefer a gentle descent take the long run to the valley on the sunny side of the Rofan massif. Feeling hungry? Visit the Erfurter Hütte, Almstüberl and Berggasthof Rofan to relax over a snack or meal.
The ski area “Zwölferkopf” is particularly family-friendly. The Planberg and Wiesen lifts in the valley offer the perfect practice terrain for beginners. Once you have mastered the bunny slopes you’ll be ready to tackle the wide slopes of the Zwölferkopf descent. And the Hubertus descent beckons with splendid views of Lake Achensee. A delicious Kaiserschmarrn (a sweet, fluffy shredded pancake) at the Alpengasthof Karwendel rounds off the perfect ski day.
