In the light of the current COVID-19 situation we all appreciate the value of spending time in unspoilt nature. And the signs are very positive: Already on 15 May restaurants and inns will open, and on 29 May accommodations are allowed to re-open.
Sports facilities – such as our golf courses and tennis courts – have been opened since 1 May. From 16 May, the Achensee Schifffahrt and the Gaisalm will be back in service with new offers.Things are moving forward, and we are confident that soon you will be able to visit again to experience the unique nature at Lake Achensee. Many adventures await between the Rofan mountains and the Karwendel nature park which has been named nature park of the year 2020. Culture enthusiasts can look forward to visiting the Notburga Museum in Eben which opens on 1 June. From 15 June, the border with Germany will also be open again.
The wait will soon come to an end. Planning your summer holidays now may be just the right thing to boost your mood. How about browsing the Achensee experience shop for some inspiration? The region offers a huge range of activities, such as guided nature watch tours or diving in Tirol’s largest lake.
